Embracing the Sacred
$145 all-day class
Once again, we embrace the regal women of history….
During this 6-hour class I hope to inspire you to create a beautiful spiritual, or theme of your choosing antiqued “time-worn” pendant.  While applying inks, chalks and paint to further color and antique your image.   You may also want to further embellish using small medals, crosses, rhinestones and gems of your choosing.  An ornate reproduction antique brass frame will cover your bezel and then it will be sealed behind resin.
In the second phase of our projects I am so excited to share my techniques in teaching you to create gorgeous forged metal, hand-worked, distressed crosses; you will create 2 to 3, or more.  The ideas are endless in designing and embellishing; while securely soldering your created crosses from start to finish!

CHATELAINE
$145 one-day class
“In the 18th and 19th centuries, women in charge of their estates wore a decorative clip of long chains holding important household items about the waist. These items were things like the key to a pantry where valuable tea, spices and food were kept; a small notebook; sewing items; a magnifying glass; or maybe a watch, nail file, or compass. The earlier waist-hung items were referred to as “equipage”, later evolving to “chatelaine” in the early 1800s.”
