PEWTER CASTING WORKSHOP
$145 one-day class
Create
unique components using pewter casting techniques and a butane culinary
torch. We will cast through things, onto things, and into molds pressed
into casting sand. We call the techniques through it, onto it, and into
it. Pewter provided is lead free and made in the USA. There is enough
pewter included in the kit to make 10+ castings. We will have hundreds
of molds to choose from or bring your own object for impression. Turning
the castings into wearable jewelry will be covered as well. Open to all
levels, all tools & supplies are provided.
KIT FEE - $45 – PAYABLE TO INSTRUCTOR AT CLASS TIME AND INCLUDES

Ruffled Bangle

Create a statement bangle utilizing fold form
techniques, annealing and hammering. We will braze the ends together once they
meet and string the stones on elastic. This is an intensive hammering class.

Prong Set explosion pendant

In creating the Explosion Pendant we will saw,
texture, make rivets, cold connect, copper braze prongs, make a creative bail,
patina your piece, then prong set a stone. You can choose a template from
hundreds in our template book or design your own base form.
